ProSweets 2012

ProSweets Cologne (The Int. supplier fair for the confectionery industry) takes place in Cologne, Germany from 29.01 to 01.02.12 at Koelnmesse. In 2009 ProSweets Cologne attracted more than 20042 visitors and 300 exhibitors. Trade show is organized by Koelnmesse GmbH. 

 As the only trade fair of its kind worldwide, ProSweets Cologne focuses on the entire supply spectrum of the confectionery and savoury snacks industry. Whether it is an innovative ingredient, an optimised production process or a clever Packaging method – the future will be shaped collectively in Cologne. Arriving by plane

Cologne-Bonn Airport can be reached by plane in about 60 minutes from many major European cities, such as Copenhagen, Berlin, Paris, Prague, London, Munich, Milan, and Zurich. The exhibition center can be reached quickly and easily from the Airport. In addition, high-speed ICE trains connect the airports in Düsseldorf, Frankfurt, Amsterdam, and Brussels directly to the exhibition center.

Arriving by train

Due to its location in the center of Europe, Koelnmesse can be quickly reached on trains of Deutsche Bahn from many cities in Germany and abroad. In addition, the Köln Messe/Deutz station for high-speed trains is located directly next to the exhibition grounds.

Koelnmesse and the German railway company Deutsche Bahn offer special prices on domestic journeys for exhibitors and visitors.

The journey needs to be booked at least 3 days in advance. Bookings are train-specific and subject to availability. You’ll receive a fully flexible ticket without specification of a train and in unlimited availability for a supplement of 30€.

Arriving by car

Ten highways lead into Cologne’s beltway, which brings you directly to the exhibition center without junctions or traffic lights. Simply follow the green signs marked “Koelnmesse”. There are about 14,500 parking spaces around the exhibition center. Free shuttle buses run from the car parks to the entrances.

Environmental zone

Since January 1, 2008, Cologne’s city center is a low emission zone, into which only vehicles sporting one of the stickers for emission groups 2-4 are allowed to enter.

The Koelmesse exhibition center is, however, accessible for all types of vehicles, even if they do not bear one of the aforementioned stickers You will find directions on how to reach the site at How to get here.
