Introduction:
History
The Thai Packaging Association was approved by the Commerce Department to initiate the association on December 26, 1969. Formerly it had the English name as The Thai Packaging Association or T.P.A. After that the Japan Packaging Institute was informed they then established The ASIAN Packaging Federation and invited Thai association to join. Meanwhile Thai side did not have enough funds in interacting with on international scale, The Industry Supporting Department decided that, the design center should be a member of ASIAN Packaging Federation for that time being, where any activities have to work parallel with the association e.g. The ASIAN Packaging Award that Thais was one of the award winner, and also won The world Packaging Organization Award, London. October, 1987 the name changed to “The Thai Packaging Association” and located at the current address, 30 years of closed corporative between government sector and private sector under support of business, industrialist. Currently the association is a joining member of The ASIAN packaging Federation.
